Contrary to media reports, Nevada is not ranked in the top five states for number of foreclosure, REO, or bank owned homes.  Following are the October, 2009 foreclosure numbers for the top five states:

1.  California - 352,852

2.  Florida     - 211,667

3.  Michigan   - 169,405

4.  Georgia    - 144,687

5.  Texas      -  146,948
