Something about 'the best laid plans of mice and men' comes to mind when Helen and I decided to take a couple of go slow days from the Reno real estate maket to relax at Lake Almanor, CA.

So much for that plan.  We couldn't get cell phone reception and we could only figure out a way to get an Internet receive only connection.  Our relaxing time away from Reno real estate quickly became a not so relaxing time.  We decided to do a vacation reset, packed up and left Lake Almanor and are now relaxing in San Francisco. 

This has taught us a lesson about our requirement to have modern up to date communications access even when on vacation.  It looks like our get aways to the road less traveled will have to go on hold for the time being.
